You’d never guess it from looking at the photos, but this stylized beach elopement in Grand Marais was freezing. In fact, for it being in the middle of June in Minnesota, we were battling strong winds and COLD temps. Winter jackets would have been appropriate.
And our models? Absolute troopers. In fact, they braved the wind like it was nothing, and the photos are gorgeous.
This Grand Marais shoot was part of the 2025 North Shore Workshop, which also marked our second year hosting photographers up the North Shore! Every year, we bring together a small group of photographers who want to build their portfolio, push themselves creatively, and build community with like-minded creatives who love the outdoors as much as they do.
