A 3.5+ mile hike awaits! We are hiking to Carlton Peak on the Superior Hiking Trail, and photographing an adventurous hiking elopement along the way! This is a moderately challenging hike. The Pinterest Boards are giving me LIFE. The 4 shoots we have planned are about to be insane. We're boarding a 40' sailboat in Grand Marais to photograph a sailboat proposal, hiking Carlton Peak on the Superior Hiking trail to photograph a hiking elopement, photographing an intimate beach elopement on the shores of Lake Superior in Grand Marais, and ending our time with a casual canoe-themed couples shoot. I recommend flying into Duluth International Airport (DLH) for the quickest travel—just a 1 hour and 45-minute drive to the Airbnb. If you fly into Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP), the drive will take about 4 hours.
