We are hiking to Bean & Bear Lakes, a 7-mile hike roundtrip. You will photograph 2 adventurous elopements along the way, with plenty of time to stop, rest, and eat lunch/snacks. Please note that this is a moderately challenging hike. We can train together leading up to it. The views are worth it. Promise.

I think you just found your new Big Sister in Business. You can regularly find me up the North Shore of Minnesota hiking at Palisade Head, Tettegouche State Park, or anywhere on the Superior Hiking Trail. I love allllll things biking, camping, swimming, sailing, etc. I'm a big oatmilk honey latte kinda gal during the day and hard cider gal at night. My hubs, Bradyn, and I are currently binge watching Brooklynn Nine-Nine, but FRIENDS + Schitt's Creek will forever be my favorites 💫
I've been a full-time wedding + elopement photographer since 2017. I have always loved being creative, but had a heart to teach as well. In 2020, I launched 1:1 Mentor Sessions and a Virtual Workshop. Spoiler: I LOVED IT. I fell head over heals in love with serving photographers — I provide tangible steps to help you learn, grown, and scale quicker. What's the investment?
I would suggest flying into MSP (Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport) and taking a connecting flight to DLH (Duluth International Airport).
What airport do I fly into?
If you choose to fly into MSP, your drive time to the Airbnb would be about 4 hours. Flying into DLH is about 2 hours quicker, and leaves you with a drive time of 1 hour and 45 minutes. once you purchase your ticket, you will be added to a Facebook group where you can plan travel, coordinate carpooling, etc.
How far is the airport from the Airbnb?
We are hiking the Bean and Bear Lake loop, in Silver Bay, MN. This is a 7-mile hike round trip and requires a 1/2 day commitment. during this adventure, we will photograph 2 adventurous elopements + flat lay stations. please note that This hike is considered moderately challenging.
