Northern Minnesota Backyard Wedding

Lindsey and Tyler’s Northern Minnesota backyard wedding was already months ago and I am still obsessing over them + their day. From the very first time we hopped on a call together, I was hooked on their love story. Tyler once said he never saw himself getting married until he met Lindsey. But once he met Lindsey, everything changed. Do I have your attention (and tears) yet?! 🥹 

Backyard Wedding

Lindsey and Tyler are two of the most outgoing, spunky, caring people I’ve ever met. The biggest thing that stood out to me about them and their day was how much intentionality went into every detail. A few years ago, they completed their dream home together. It was so special that they chose their home for their getting ready space and reception. But the ceremony itself took place at Lindsey’s parents’ house on a lake built by her dad. And actually, that’s where Lindsey and Tyler’s love story begins. 

Lindsey and Tyler first met through mutual friends in 2012. Tyler took the opportunity to ask “100 questions” about the lake. From that day forward, Tyler always called her “pond girl”. Several years past when they reconnected on Facebook. Their first date was to At Home to help Tyler redecorate his house (#goals). 10 years after they first met, they said “I do” over the same lake that started it all.

The Party

Okay, let me tell you something. Lindsey, Tyler, and their crew know how to party. Once the knot was tied, it was time to get the party started. They had the most epic grand entrance that set the precedent for all grand entrances. Let’s just say it involved a good ole round of flippy cup and that the ladies WON. After the speeches, cake cutting, and first dances, I was able to sneak Lindsey and Tyler away for some sunset romantics. Their sweet pups even made an appearance 🥰
