If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you’ll know that quite a bit has changed throughout the last few months, so I figured now would be a great time to reintroduce myself.
Let’s dive into some life updates while I (re)introduce myself and have you meet the blogger behind Morgan Elizabeth Photography.
Life Updates
First and foremost – WE MOVED! 🎉
My sweet hubby, Bradyn, and our dog, Moss, moved from the Twin Cities area to Duluth in September 2022. We truly couldn’t be more thrilled about this new season in our life. For me, this move was actually me returning home! I grew up in the Northland and knew deep in my heart that Lake Superior would forever hold such a special place in my heart. It’s safe to say that I am so dang ✨giddy✨ to be back.
I’ve had so many people tell me how much happier I seem being back up North, and if that’s not the truth… I don’t know what is.
As my hubs and I prepared for our move North, I was able to forward market for the Duluth area for 2023 (YAY🎉). Knowing about our move in advance was such a blessing and really allowed us to get a handle on things before taking the plunge! God is so freaking GOOD.
I spent the better part of 2022 connecting with so many incredible couples and spent a ton of time driving to/from Duluth. While I’m still frequently in the Twin Cities metro-area, my heart is so full knowing that I have the opportunity to capture so much love in one of my favorite places on Earth.
Looking Ahead
As a photographer, I specialize in adventurous elopements and intimate weddings. I have always loved serving the kinda couples that weren’t afraid of getting their hair a bit windblown or their wedding dress a little dirty. And I mean, come on… spending the majority of my time shooting near Lake Superior?!
It truly doesn’t get much better than that. 🥹
Looking ahead to 2023, I am pumped to capture more lovely couples immersed in the tall pines, frolicking along Black Beach, and exploring more up the North Shore.
